Telephone Based Peer Support

If you or a family member or close friend have recently been diagnosed with an eye condition that has caused or may lead to sight loss in the future, we have a team of trained peer supporters who are available to talk to you.
Our team members have a range of eye conditions and are based throughout the country. They are able to talk with you from first hand experience about the day to day reality of living with a visual impairment, offer ideas for making daily tasks easier to cope with, and provide ideas about where to obtain further information on a range of topics.
